I am a big advocate of following your intuition. That inner prompt to take action. This often goes against what your head is telling you, but if you follow that guidance it will help you, and others, in all ways.
The other day I was getting ready to go for a day out at a National Trust property. I was meeting my parents and daughter there as my daughter had been staying with my parents for a few days during the school holidays.
The other day I was getting ready to go for a day out at a National Trust property. I was meeting my parents and daughter there as my daughter had been staying with my parents for a few days during the school holidays.
That morning I had the thought to call my Mum and ask her to bring the bite and sting cream that I'd packed in my daughter's things (and would have remained packed!). At first I shook off the thought, and instead told myself that we'd never needed it before and I'd never called my Mum to ask her to bring it before, but again the thought persisted. So I followed this prompt and called my Mum. She was a bit surprised I was asking her to bring the cream (and probably thought I was being over protective – I do often take far more than I need when I go out!). However, she said she'd bring the cream with her.
So we met up later that morning at Mottisfont (I'd highly recommend a visit) and my mother handed over the cream which I put in my bag.
Ten minutes later we were walking along a path in the gardens, when a toddler who was walking along with her parents suddenly grabbed a stinging nettle! The poor tot was crying and her parents were trying to console her when I came over with my bite and sting cream in hand!
I did smile to myself as I'd been prompted to bring that cream with me and now I knew the reason why.
Having read Lorna Byrne's books which explain how our Guardian Angel talks to us and other people's Guardian Angels to help us in all ways they can, I am sure my Guardian Angel was whispering to me that day.
Angel Blessings
